Horse racing is one of the oldest sports, and much loved the world over. With many types of races and disciplines, there is something for everyone.
Like many other sports, horse racing betting has boomed, both at racecourses and online. According to the WLA Global Lottery Data Compendium, in 2022, sports games (fixed odds) was the fastest growing traditional product segment, and WLA members PMU, France, and the Hong Kong Jockey Club, China, dominate in horse race betting.
With a long history in horse racing and betting, PMU is Europe's leading operator and the third largest player in the world of horse racing pari-mutuel betting. The PMU networking event will take place at the Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes, on the evening of 25 October. The event is by invitation only and will allow participants to explore the ins and outs of horse racing.
An incredible networking venue
The Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes was inaugurated in 1863, and is dedicated to trotting, harness and mounted horse racing. Every year, it hosts 157 race days for 1,255 races, including its winter meeting and night races.
Thanks to the quality of its asphalt track, reception facilities, drivers and horses (150 boxes), and prestigious races, such as the Grand Prix de France, and the Grand Prix d'Amérique, it is considered the world’s Temple of Trotting.
