LITTLE ROCK, AR, 31 October 2025 – This week, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) partnered with Lotto.com, an online lottery platform, to raise funds for the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance’s (AHRA) fourth annual College Hunger Summit.
AHRA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity in Arkansas. Proceeds from all LOTTO tickets purchased on Oct. 29 via Lotto.com were donated to the nonprofit.
“We were honored to support the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance through our promotion with Lotto.com,” said ASL Executive Director Sharon Strong. “According to a recent study by Honors Arkansas, an estimated 41% of Arkansas college students have been unable to focus in class due to limited food intake. This partnership with Lotto.com expands our commitment to higher education through our efforts to combat college hunger and provide additional support to student success.”
Following the fundraiser, representatives from ASL and Lotto.com attended AHRA’s Arkansas College Hunger Summit to present a $5,000 check from the proceeds.
AHRA hosted the summit on Oct. 30 at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Dignitaries included Sylvia Blain, AHRA chief executive officer; Jennifer Owens Buie, AHRA director of development; Sharon Strong, ASL executive director; and Kweku Sapara-Grant, Lotto.com director of external affairs.
“We’re proud to partner with the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery to support the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance and the vital work they do to combat food insecurity across the state,” said Kweku Sapara-Grant, Director of External Affairs of Lotto.com. “Since our Arkansas launch in 2023, every ticket ordered on our platform has contributed to ASL’s initiatives that benefit local communities. This partnership is another meaningful way we can give back to the people of Arkansas while helping drive incremental state funding through responsible, digital lottery participation.”
Launched in 2022, LOTTO is an Arkansas-exclusive draw game designed to give in-state players another chance to win big prizes. A Garland County resident recently claimed the game’s third-highest jackpot of $1.338 million.
LOTTO drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m.
The LOTTO jackpot for Saturday night is $305,000.
