WLS 2026 Recap
The World Lottery Summit 2026, held in Sydney, Australia from 9-13 November, welcomed the global, regulated lottery and sports betting industry for a week of discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking on the latest trends and topics and to exchange ideas and experiences of their efforts to raise funds that support causes worldwide.
Organized together with host lottery, The Lottery Corporation, the event took place at the ICC, located at Darling Harbor and provided an inspiring location for the tradeshow, where participants met with global suppliers to discuss latest products and services on show.
The business program offered an excellent line-up of keynote and industry expert speakers, from WLA members and suppliers, as well as other industries, and provided fresh perspectives and insights into many key topics that impact our industry.
The WLA launched its plaza for the first time where visitors could enjoy cultural activities, listen to WLA representatives discuss key initiatives and the work done to support members, and network at the heart of the impressive tradeshow displays.
WLS 2026 also saw the launch of new and additional Ad and Responsible Gaming Awards, which recognized the outstanding contributions to our industry by our members.

In recent years, we have also seen the extraordinary efforts undertaken to offer assistance in the event of man-made and natural disasters.
Contributing positively to society is a key criterion for WLA membership, and a common thread that unites all our member organizations.
During WLS 2026, the Play for Society display showcased the many causes supported in our five global regions of Africa, Asia/ The Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and North America/ The Caribbean.
