In 2025, the New Hampshire Lottery, celebrated contributions of over USD 3 billion to public education since its inception in 1964. Its profits have been earmarked for state education funding. This means that for every dollar spent on lottery tickets, 29 cents goes back to the state to support public education.

All sports betting profits in New Hampshire (NH) are earmarked for public education. For this reason, the New Hampshire Lottery consistently aims to involve its beneficiaries – NH students – in high profile athlete events.
One such innovative project enabled three lucky students to do an interview for their school papers with David Ortiz on the anniversary of signing his first contract with the Boston Red Sox.

Making music
In an extraordinary partnership with Recycled Percussion, the New Hampshire Lottery surprised schools with high-energy concert appearance and a $2,500 contribution. Using social media, followers nominated schools that were then entered into a drawing for the chance to host Recycled Percussion live, and the reaction was unbelievable.

Training with a champion
National Hockey League legend and former Boston Bruins Captain Patrice Bergeron joined five New Hampshire high school hockey players for an exciting on-ice skills competition where students got the chance of a lifetime to compete directly with one of the all-time greats.
